How does the bidding system work?
Each project is assigned a slot. Freelancers who meet the criteria can join the slot until it reaches a maximum of 5 members (2 experienced + 3 newcomers). Once full, the slot is closed for bidding.
Can clients choose which freelancers join their project slot?
No. Freelancers self-join if they qualify and the slot isn't full. Clients can review and hire from the freelancers already in the slot.
How are freelancers vetted?
New freelancers must pass a screening quiz and submit a project demo (e.g., video or portfolio). Experienced freelancers are evaluated based on ratings and past work.
What happens if a project slot fills too fast?
Once a slot reaches 5 members, it's locked. You can repost the project or use the 'Express Publish' feature to hire a top-rated freelancer instantly.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payments are held in escrow and released only upon confirmed project completion. Our Guaranteed Delivery or Refund policy protects clients.
How can freelancers grow on the platform?
Freelancers earn ratings, badges, and tier promotions by completing projects. Advancing tiers unlock more visibility and access to better projects.
What if there's a dispute between a client and freelancer?
Our support team reviews all available data and makes a fair decision. Dispute resolution is built into our Guaranteed Delivery system.
